Sorhagenia janiszewskae Reidl, 1962

Wingspan: 10-13mm

A univoltine species that may hibernate as adults have been found in September and again in March. The life history of the species is uncertain. This specimen was taken at light on the margin of mixed broadleaved woodland at Las Descargues.

Larvae feed on alder buckthorn Frangula alnus and buckthorn both species of which are present in the immediate area. Pupation takes place in plant debris on the ground.
