Least Yellow Underwing

Wingspan: 31-36mm

Imago: Univoltine, flying from May to October but with a period of aestivation during the hottest months. It is attracted to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and various habitats in the area.

Larva: Polyphagous on herbaceous plants and grasses, overwinters as a half-grown larva with pupation taking place in the spring underground.
