Zanclognatha tarsipennalis (Treitschke, 1835)

Fan-foot
L'Herminie de la vigne-blanche

Wingspan: 31-33mm

Imago: Bivoltine, flying from May to September when it is attracted to light and sugar and is a frequent visitor to Las Descargues and the broadleaved woods of the ridge and gorge.

Larva: Feeds on withered leaves of Quercus, Fagus and Rubus. It overwinters as a larva but information regarding pupation is not yet known.
