Atypha pulmonaris (Esper, 1790)

Wingspan: 28-32mm

Imago: Univoltine, flying in June and July the species is attracted to light but is never a common moth in the region. It has been taken in all years at Las Descargues and appears to favour open habitats near woodland where Quercus is present.

Larva: Feed on Pulmonaria spp., Reseda lutea, Salix and Quercus spp.
