Wingspan: 21-29mm

Imago: Univoltine, Flying from May to August. It is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues but is more commonly found along the margins of the conifer and birch woodlands of the plateau.

Larva: Larva feeds on moss.
