Euphyia biangulata (Haworth, 1809)

Cloaked Carpet

Wingspan: 30-38mm

Imago: Bivoltine, April to May and July to August. A frequent visitor to light it has been recorded from Las Descargues and all traps situated in or near broadleaved woodland.

Larva: Feeds Prunus, Crataegus monogyna and Stellaria media before overwintering as a pupa below ground.
