Ditula angustiorana (Haworth, 1811)

Red-barred Tortrix

Wingspan: 12-18mm

Imago: Univoltine, May to the end of July when it comes frequently to light. The male can often be seen flying in afternoon sunshine. The species has been recorded from all the Las Descargues traps and those in the more open woodland of the ridge and gorge.

Larva: Polyphagous on various trees and shrubs, the larva overwinters before re-commencing feeding in early spring.
