Pseudotelphusa scalella (Scopoli, 1763)

Wingspan: 11-13mm

Imago: Univoltine, flying from May to mid-July when it is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from all the Las Descargues traps and those situated in or adjacent to broadleaved woodland.

Larva: Feeding undescribed although it has been described as feeding on Quercus leaves. Bradford (1979) describes the larva feeding from moss on trees, but it may be that the larva only uses moss as a pupation site.
