Ectoedemia decentella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1855)

Wingspan: 5mm

Imago: Bivoltine, flying in May and June and again in August. It is an occasional visitor to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and the ridge woodland traps only.

Larva: Feeds on Acer pseudoplatanus, a gallery mine is formed in the wings of the sycamore keys by the second instar larva. A cocoon is spun on the trunk of the foodplant.
