Diarsia rubi (Vieweg, 1790)

Small Square-spot
La Noctuelle belle

Wingspan: 25-34mm

Imago: Bivoltine, May and June and again from July to September. It is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and just about everywhere else, a ubiquitous species.

Larva: Polyphagous on herbaceous plants, overwinters as a larva before pupating in early spring underground.
