Emmetia marginea (Haworth, 1828)

Wingspan: 7-8mm

A bivoltine species flying from May to June and again in August and September. It is an occasional visitor to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and wherever the foodplant is found.

The larva feeds on Rubus spp. creating a triangular mine. Feeding by the second generation continues through the winter.
