Eupithecia nanata (Hübner, 1813)

Narrow-winged Pug

Wingspan: 15-23mm

Imago: Bivoltine flying from April to June and again from July to October. It is an occasional visitor to light and has ben recorded from the traps at Las Descargues but more often from the patches of heath within the ridge woodland.

Larva: Feeds on the flowers and leaves of Calluna, Erica spp.
