Anania verbascalis ([Denis & Schiffermuller, 1775)

Wingspan: 22-26mm

Imago: Bivoltine, April to June and again from July to September when it is attracted to light and has bee recorded from the Las Descargues traps and those along the woodland margins of the gorge.

Larva: Feeds on Teucrium scorodonia in late summer, overwinters fully grown in a cocoon before pupating in early spring.
