Lathronympha strigana (Fabricius, 1775)

Wingspan: 11-17mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from May to August - September when it flies at sunrise and dusk, is easily disturbed during the day and is regularly attracted to light, it has been recorded at all the Las Descargues traps and those on the margins of the ridge woods. A species of chalk and limestone habitats.

Larvae feed on Hypericum spp.
