Celypha rufana (Scopoli, 1763)

Wingspan: 15-19mm

A bivoltine species flying from May to July and again in August and September when it is attracted to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and traps placed in or near the rough, unmanaged meadows of the plateau.

Larva feeds on Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, Artemisia vulgaris, Plantago, Achillea, Taraxacum etc.
