Idaea straminata (Borkhausen, 1794)

Wingspan: 28-32mm

A bivoltine species flying from June to August and again from August to October in overlapping generations. It comes to light and has been recorded from Las Descargues and the woodland of the plateau.

Larva feeds on Taraxacum officinale overwintering in the larval state, pupating in plant detritus in early spring.
