Conistra veronicae (Hübner, 1813)

Wingspan: 32-36mm

A univoltine species where the adult overwinters to re-appear in the spring. Flying from September to May it has been infrequently recorded at the Las Descargues mv lights and from those in or near the calcareous grassland of the ridge and Causse.

The larva feeds on Plantago, Taraxacum, Crataegus etc.
