Wingspan: 20-23mm

A bivoltine species flying from late May to September when it is attracted to light and has been recorded from mv traps at Las Descargues and the broadleaved woodlands of the ridge and gorge. It is far more common, however, on the limestone pavement of the Causse.

Larvae feed on mosses on the ground (Heckford, R.J. & Sterling, P.H., 2005)
