Batia lunaris (Haworth, 1828)

Wingspan: 6-9mm

A univoltine species flying from June to mid-August. It is initially separable from similar species by its far smaller size. Attracted to light it is a frequent visitor to the Las Descargues traps and those situated on the margins of the broadleaved woodland of the ridge and gorge.

Larva is a fungi feeder beneath the bark of various trees and shrubs.
