Agapeta hamana (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 17-25mm

A bivoltine species flying from May to September. It is a scarce visitor to this part of the Lot and has only been recorded as singletons on two occasions. A species of unmanaged meadows it may prove to be more common than it currently is if targeted a the right time of the year.

Larvae feed on Trifolium, Cirsium arvense and Ononis repens.
