Southern White Admiral

Wingspan: 48-64mm

A plurivoltine species flying from May to September. It is a common species of the Fournanty Plateau and the Causse and has been recorded from woodland, woodland clearing and rides, scrub and rough grassland bordering wooded areas.

The larva feeds on Lonicera spp. overwintering as a partially grown larva before pupating in early spring on the food plant.
