Udea fulvalis (Hübner, 1809)

Wingspan: 24-29mm

A bivoltine species flying from May to September when it is an occasional visitor to the lights at Las Descargues and those on the Causse. A species of woodland margins and the herb-rich meadows of the plateau and Causse.

The larva feeds on Napeta cataria, Salvia pratensis, Ballota nigra etc. with pupation taking place amongst the leaves of the foodplant.
