Dryobotodes eremita (Fabricius, 1775)

Brindled Green

Wingspan: 32-36mm

A univoltine species flying from September to the end of November when it is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from all woodland sites.

Larvae feed mainly on Quercus spp., but also recorded from Corylus, and Crataegus spp., later pupating in a cocoon underground.
