Eupithecia icterata (Villers, 1789)

Wingspan: 20-25mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to August when it is an infrequent visitor to light. A ubiquitous species recorded from most habitats, elevations to 1500m asl and substrates.

The larva feeds on Achillea millefoium, Artemisia vulgaris etc. overwinters as a pupa in loose soil beneath the foodplant.
