Pasiphila rectangulata (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 15-20mm

A univoltine species on the wing from April to July, frequently attracted to light and recorded from all the Las Descargues mv traps and those situated in most other habitats.

The larva feeds on Malus, Prunus etc. it overwinters as an egg on the foodplant and pupates after feeding in, or on the ground in early spring.
