Aleucis distinctata (Herrich-Schäffer, 1839)

Wingspan: male 25-30mm female reduced wings.

A univoltine species flying from February to late April when it is attracted to light and has been recorded from the Las Descargues traps and those along the woodland margins of the ridge and wherever its foodplant is found.

The larva feeds on the blossom of Prunus spinosa before overwintering as a pupa underground.
