Eupithecia innotata (Hufnagel, 1767)

Wingspan: 22-26mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from March to June and again from July to October. A regular visitor to light it has been recorded at Las Descargues and from all traps on the margins of the broadleaved woodland of the plateau.

The larva feeds on Prunus spinosa, Crataegus, Rosa, Fraxinus, Tamarix, Sambucus, Hippophae etc. overwinters as a pupa in miss beneath the foodplant or just beneath the ground.
