Scoparia subfusca Haworth, 1811

Wingspan: 20-28mm

One of the largest Scopariinae, a bivoltine species on the wing from May to the end of September. An occasional visitor to light it has been recorded from the Las Descargues lights, those on woodland margins and from the Causse.

The larva feeds on the roots of Picris, Tussilago spp.
