Acrobasis consociella (Hübner, 1813)

Wingspan: 19-22mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from July to October. Recorded at Las Descargues and those traps situated in or along the margins of the oak woods of the plateau where it is more commonly taken in the autumn.

The larva feeds on the spun leaves of Quercus spp., before hibernating, feeding continues on the young leaves in spring with pupation taking place in a cocoon attached to a leaf of the spinning.
